Earl Fights Political Correctness
I have always enjoyed poetry by Robert Burns. Burns was a well known Scottish poet in the 18th century. They have four Robert Burns Suppers in Central Indiana. Bloomington, Lafayette, Carmel and Indy to honor him.
I went to the one in Indy, put on by the local Scottish Society. They called
it "Robert Burns Light" because it was a pitch-in with an entry
fee of only $4 and included entertainment. Compared to Carmel's at the
Ritz for $55, it was a steal.
I decided to bring "Red Dragon Balls" over an article that appeared about European political correctness stating dragon could no longer be used in the labeling of dragon sausage because dragon meat does not exist. They went over very well even though a few people knew the Red Dragon is the symbol of Wales.
One elderly lady commented as she skewered her selected morsel, "I
didn't know dragons had balls."
